What every feature means

Every feature on a Zappol house is what the lister told us about it. Zappol reviews each listing before it goes live, but does not visit houses in person — so always check these things during your inspection before you pay rent.

Words on the listing cards

REVIEWED BY ZAPPOL
Zappol's team reviewed this listing before it went live, and the agent's ID was checked. It does not mean Zappol visited the house in person — always inspect before you pay rent.
ZAPPOL AGENT
Listed by one of Zappol's own agents. Their inspection is done by the Zappol team.
DEMO
A sample listing to show how Zappol works — not a real house you can rent.
Rent / year
The yearly rent the lister asked for.
Total to move in
Everything you pay from booking a visit to moving in: the yearly rent + the inspection fee + this house's own fees (agency, caution, security, legal) as the lister entered them. Each fee is listed on the house page.
Inspection fee / Book
The one flat fee you pay through Zappol to get the agent's number and the exact address so you can visit. The amount is always shown on the house page before you pay. When a card shows a total, that total already includes this fee.
Address unlocks after booking
The exact address and the agent's phone number are only shown after you pay the inspection fee — never before.
ROOMMATE-READY · MAX 2
Two people may share this house. "₦… each" is the yearly rent divided by 2.
Heading bar (e.g. IMT CAMPUS 1)
The campus the lister picked, or the town if there is no campus. The line under the title is the town and its local government area, or the village.
